Angela Gourley

producer

Angela Gourley is an award-winning Producer/Director and Series Producer with over 20 years experience in TV documentary and docudrama for Channel 4, MTV, ITV and Channel 5. She has worked on High End adventure/travel and history programmes for the BBC, Discovery and Nat Geo, including ‘Lonely Planet’, ‘Bear Grylls Caught on Camera’, ‘Gold Rush’, and ‘Globetrekker’; and in comedy: ‘Borat’, ‘Ian Wright Live’ and ‘Meet Mr Wright’.

She worked as Head of Development for Production Company Pilot Films, and works as a freelance reader, script editor and edit producer.

Angela is member of BAFTA Connect, BAFTA/BFI network and an EAVE alumni. She was a participant in the 2022 EIFF Talent Lab and the Creative Enterprise 2023 Market Trader cohort.

Rhidian Brook

RHIDIAN BROOK is an award winning writer & screenwriter. His work includes the novel The Testimony of Taliesin Jones, which was adapted for film. He co-wrote the film adaption of his novel THE AFTERMATH starring Keira Knightley. He has written BBC drama, Mr Harvey Lights A Candle, two seasons of Silent Witness and the original screenplay of the Pathe film AFRICA UNITED.

Karol Griffiths

Karol Griffiths is a successful script editor, development consultant and producer with over twenty years of experience. She has worked with talents such as JOEL & ETHAN COEN, STEVEN SPIELBERG, and SETH MACFARLANE. Her UK credits include projects for BBC, ITV, SKY, FOOTPRINT FILMS, and most recently, PARADISE HIGHWAY for SILVER REEL and LIONSGATE.

Fiona Hunnisett

Fiona Hunnisett is a former lawyer turned screenwriter. SAFEGUARD was a Finalist in the Screencraft Action & Thriller Contest. Her thriller feature LOYALTY is the 2022 UK Winner of the Berlinale Junior Entertainment Talent Slate and is in development with Aston Productions and Bay Horse Pictures. She is also developing an action thriller feature with a Producer of The Domestics and has comedy and thriller scripts under consideration with several UK Production companies. Fiona has also achieved success as an Academy Nicholl Fellowship Quarter-finalist, a PAGE Awards Semi-finalist and an Austin Film Festival Second Rounder.

Oliver Maltman

Oliver Maltman is an actor/writer. Writing credits include the film KILL BEN LYK, LIVES OF THE INFAMOUS (Channel 4), SEMI- DETACHED (BBC2) and THE LAST MERMAID. He’s appeared in films such as HAPPY-GO-LUCKY, ANOTHER YEAR, MALEFICENT, BEAST, THE SENSE OF AN ENDING and HOLMES & WATSON. His television credits include THE CROWN, CUCKOO, LIAR, KNIGHTFALL, BREXIT: THE UNCIVIL WAR, BACK, and most recently MISTER WINNER.

Maziar Bahari

Maziar Bahari has produced documentaries and news reports for broadcasters around the world including, BBC, Channel4, HBO, Discovery, Canal+ and NHK on subjects as varied as private lives of Ayatollahs, African architecture, Iranians’ passion for football and contemporary history of Iran. His films have won several awards and nominations including an Emmy in 2005. In 2009, Bahari was nominated for the Prince of Asturias Award for Concord, widely known as Spain’s Nobel Prize. Bahari is a jury member of a number of international film festivals. During the 2009 Iranian Election Protests Bahari was arrested and detained without charge for 118 days. He wrote the memoir ‘Then They Came for Me’ about the experience, which was adapted into a Hollywood movie ‘Rosewater’ starring Gabriel Garcia Marquez, which he produced with director Jon Stewart.

Nat Luurtsema

Nat is a writer and comedian. Her first short film,Island Queen, was nominated for a BAFTA in 2014 and she is now adapting Helen Cross’ novel,Spilt Milk Black Coffee, for Mighty Atom Entertainment, developing a Swiss comedy,Butterfly Stroke, and a horror about motherhood for Qwerty Films. She is the author of five books, one being adapted into a TV show with the BFI, and her short stories have been nominated for the Royal Society of Literature and Royal Academy of Art’s Short Story of the Year awards.

Christian Pichler

director

Christian Pichler started his film career in the late 90s working on scripted TV shows in his native Austria before moving to Los Angeles in 2001 where he worked as Second Unit Director and Assistant Director on several independent feature and studio motion pictures including The Island, Oceans Twelve and Rocky Balboa. He worked up the ranks as Assistant Director to high profile film directors, before establishing himself independently directing short films and TV commercials for various clients in the US.
